Overview of VC - Tar Barrier Coat Epoxy - 1 Quart. Excellent for use under VC17m and VC17m Extra This epoxy stops moisture from penetrating gel coat, wood or other porous surfaces. It's also recommended for use under VC 17m and VC 17m Extra. Whether sprayed (air or airless), rolled or brushed, the self-leveling characteristics provide a super-smooth surface for subsequent bottom paints. It can be applied at temperatures as low as 40°F, dries quickly and requires no sanding between coats, making it a great system for the do-it-yourself owner. Resin plus catalyst comprise a one quart kit.
