The flexibility of these blocks makes them ideal for use as Genoa leads, spinnaker controls, or short sheet leads for jibs. Investment cast snap shackle head attaches to the block with a ball joint swivel. The key feature however, is that the block cage can be opened allowing a line to be inserted at any point, rather than being reeved (run through the end) as with conventional blocs.
