Adhesive-Lined Heat Shrink Tubing (ALT)

Ancor’s adhesive lined tubing is superior to conventional heat shrink tubing. It’s made from cross-linked polyolefin, which is much stronger than PVC. With a 3:1 shrink ratio, it can shrink up to one-third of original size. The waterproof adhesive is heat-activated. It bonds tenaciously to insulating covers and terminals, producing strain relief that makes a stronger connection than the mechanical connection alone. Shrinks at 257°F, safely below the temperature at which insulation melts.
