Enjoy sailing without the grind with these electric winches and electric winch conversion kits. Electric winches operate at the touch of a button and provide a full manual two-speed override when you want it. Wavespring self tailing is standard on all models. For manual operation, simply insert the winch handle in the socket and crank. The ELS Series use a solid-state control box that runs the winch at high speed and slows it down as the load increases. A less expensive alternative is the E-Series which operates with a simple, single-direction, On/Off control box. Thermal overload protection is standard on both. Quiet running and easy to install, these winches provide efficient operation and are suitable for genoa sheets on boats 30'–36', and for main halyards on boats 40'–46'. Both the E-Series and the ELS Series include Ocean Series self-tailing winches, with specifications shown on the next page. Both series include the winch, drive unit, motor, deck switch, control box and circuit breaker. Conversion of existing Ocean Series convertible winches is possible with ELS or E-Series Conversion Kits, also offered below. CE-certified.
