Strain Relief Kit for 50A, 12KVA Isolation Transformer

Eliminate the worries of hooking up to unknown shore power—this transformer isolates the boat’s AC system from shore, protecting valuable electronics and electrical components from shore-side power surges, transients and spikes. This unit eliminates the need for polarity alarms and galvanic isolators since it stops galvanic current flow without electrical components. Fully encapsulated components and transformers eliminate vibration worries. Also features a thick sheet of copper between the primary (shore side) and secondary (boat side) windings of the transformer for added protection against strong shore-side voltage surges.

Designed specifically for the marine industry and meets all ABYC, Marine UL and other marine testing and safety standards, CE certified for international use. Includes terminal blocks for easy connections. We offer two universal transformers 12i and 3.8i with extra taps designed for domestic and international use and one isolation transformer, 12T, designed for domestic use. Made in the U.S.A.
