Boats are full of small portlights, which let in light just when you need darkness to sleep comfortably. PORTshade is the ultra-slim cassette blind solution that solves this problem. Suitable for even the smallest portlights, PORTshade’s micro blind system has a sleek, silver-anodized finish that blends into any interior. PORTshade and RAILshade (for larger windows and hatches) offer an ideal solution for when a coordinated look is required.

PORTshade may also be supplied with a special fixing option for use with traditional style portlights/windows that have large ‘dog’ handles that prevent the blind from sitting flush across the window. Please call 1-800-BOATING to order.

PORTshade is normally mounted in the same plane as the fabric drop, (i.e. normally fixed to a vertical surface) but can easily be adapted to mount on a horizontal surface for a vertical drop. Custom fabrics, cassette finishes and sizes may also be ordered.
