These International Game Fish Association trolling rods were created for the 50lb., 80lb. and 130lb. line class ratings. They're world-class saltwater rods that have been designed and tested by local guides, pros and the best engineers in the business. Shimano TC4 Construction, coupled with triple-wrapped AFTCO Wind-On rollers yield high performance and responsiveness. Black Diamond grip gives stability and durability, and the guides are thread-wrapped for strength and friction reduction.

• Rod Blank: TC4 Construction wraps a double inner horizontal layer of advanced T-glass with an inner and outer spiral of high-modulus graphite, resulting in a very durable, crisp yet lightweight rod
• Handle & Reel Seat: AFTCO Storabutt is a handle and reel seat combination designed for big game anglers who use curved butts. The reel seat is ferruled at both ends to permit removal of the butt section of your rod without also needing to remove the reel, making it easier to store curved butts, especially on boats where storage is an issue.
  
  AFTCO Unibutt is precision machined one-piece aluminum, so the pin-plug, gimbal, fixed hood and ferrule are in perfect alignment with he guides. Custom anodized in Shimano's Tiagra gold, they include a Teflon® O-ring to assure a snug fit, keep out moisture and prevent corrosion
