Satellite2™ 406 MHz Category I EPIRB

This EPIRB transmits the user’s registered, digitally-coded distress signal on 406.028 MHz and a 121.5MHz Search and Rescue homing frequency for a minimum of 48 hours, even in extreme (-40°C) weather conditions. It features a new five-year nonhazardous battery that means you won’t encounter large shipping fees every five years, and meets COSPAS-SARSAT, FCC and USCG requirements. Easy to use, it has single, three-position flip switches for functional testing and operation, built-in strobe lights to assist searchers in poor visibility and a Free Survival Gear Pouch. Included with the Cat II unit is a rugged, Low Pro2 bracket that features a quick-release function and a water-sensor deactivation magnet to guard against accidental activation.
