This product is constructed of silicon rubber and hand wrapped in three layers of fiberglass on the inside. Like all Lasdrop models, a cutlass bearing is incorporated in to the product to ensure correct alignment with the shaft. The Original Bellows seal will fit stern tubes from 1-1/2" to 10-1/2" in diameter.

Gen II Shaft Seal, 1-3/8", Stern Tube: 2" from LASDROP SHAFT SEALS
The Gen II offers exclusive features that make it the premier shaft seal on the market. The Friction Ring assembly is mounted with a rigid connection hose and uses a carbon graphite sealing surface all encased by a durable copolymer housing. Built into the friction ring assembly is a cutlass bearing to ensure proper and constant alignment to the shaft. The Clamp/Pressure Assembly secures the assembly around the shaft, preventing the galling or damage to the shaft that can occur with setscrews.
