Heavy-duty 1" stainless stanchion tubes have integral top caps and accept coated lifeline wire up to 5/16" oval dia. Rugged stainless base is canted 5° inboard to match most deck cambers. 5/16" welded rod reinforcement doubles as a bail for snatch blocks, etc. The gate brace mounts midway up the stanchion and has a welded base canted 60° for extra support at gate openings.

SmartPilot X-5 Wheel Pilot from RAYMARINE INC.
The innovative SmartPilot X-5 Wheel autopilot is equipped with the fully enclosed MkII wheel-drive for simple installation and below deck autopilot performance. The control unit and patented fluxgate compass are mounted separately for easy access and optimum performance. Select the corepack (without a control head, but including the course computer, fluxgate compass and drive unit) if you already have a control head and only need the rest of the autopilot system.
