Cradles are an important part of liferaft safety. They make it easy to mount your liferaft on deck, where it's easily accessible in an emergency. All of our cradles accept hydrostatic releases, which we highly recommend for added safety. A hydrostatic release deploys the raft and inflates it automatically when the release comes in contact with the water. Cradles are constructed of 1" (25mm) tube diameter 316 stainless steel. They are designed to be mounted horizontally on deck .

The Hammar Hydrostatic Release is a universal float-free release mechanism that is compact and reliable. It will release at all angles and needs only the required water pressure to activate (depths between 1. 5m and 4m). Unit consists of a double looped rope line, a release mechanism, a weak link (red), and instruction tag. 90 persons. Simple to install with instruction tag attached. Glassfiber reinforced nylon construction means no rust. Needs no annual service, maintenance or spare parts.
