Comments about 3M Imperial Compound & Finishing Material:

I was hesitant at first. I bought a 25 foot Wellcraft, 2004 year built. Purchased in Charleston SC. White Gel Coat finish. The boat was chalky with oxidation. I thought the finish was ruined. I started with a small section of the boat (IN THE SHADE!) applying with a buffer pad by hand and then buffing with an electric polisher. After the first pass, I saw the shine! Finished the whole boat and Wha La! NEW BOAT! Work it slow speed, as it can heat up the fiberglass and cause problems.

I would highly recommend this for boat restoration to gel coat finish!

Comments about Imperial Compound & Finishing Material:

I professionally detail for a living. If you are looking for something that brings out the luster in your boat this is the stuff. Use imperial compound and finishing material first then come back and use finesse it 2 glaze. Always use you a buffer for best result. [@]
