Job Description

This is a full time core Associate in the Shared Services Call Center. Candidates will be assigned to work specific schedules and need to be flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends. The position is responsible for receiving inbound Sales and Customer Service calls from West Marine Customers. Other duties may include responding to Customers via email, and various off phone work duties. The position can work in our corporate headquarters or work from home (home office must meet specifications).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; successful completion of Sales and Customer Service Training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (previous call center or phone experience preferred).
  • Excellent listening and problem solving skills; excellent computer skills and ability to self help.
  • Previous experience in retail sales and customer service; positive attitude and able to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Flexible availability.
