Job Description

The Customer Coordinator will contribute to the retention and profitability of existing customers by taking orders, preparing quotes, promoting additional products and services, resolving billing and product quality issues, and providing effective customer service. The Customer Coordinator will develop and complete activities to meet Port Supply goals. These goals include, increasing the team sales and average dollar volume of Port Supply accounts. This position reports directly to the Market Team Manager.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be detail oriented, with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and be proficient in all computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite. Candidate must be able to resolve customer concerns or issues efficiently and to the customer’s satisfaction. Candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of marine products and general industry knowledge. Candidate must demonstrate knowledge of market trends, competition strengths and weakness, and also have a general understanding of pricing and gross margins. Candidate needs to be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
