Job Description

The Outside Sales Representative will maintain and support all assigned Port Supply accounts with a focused attention on the growth of Key Accounts and Targeted Accounts as well as prospecting and the development of new accounts. The Sales Representative will also be an important contributor to helping define market strategy. The Sales Representative will develop and complete activities to meet Port Supply goals. This position reports directly to the Market Team Manager. Standards of Performance: Sales to plan. Profit to plan. Contribution to plan. Expense control. QWL and Team Development. Customer experience metrics. 4th Generation Training and application.


  • Marine Industry knowledge required.
  • 2+years Outside Sales experience preferred.
  • Must be a self motivated professional.
  • Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
  • Strong presentation, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure meeting continuing deadlines.
  • Experience in developing and managing sales territories.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office excel Word and etc.
  • Ability to travel.
