WATSONVILLE, CA (February 08, 2012)

West Marine, the country's largest retailer of boating supplies and accessories, will demonstrate the new Teva Fuse-ion shoes on a grease covered aluminum ramp, at the Miami International Boat Show.

With the Fuse-ion, Teva has designed a shoe that stakes a claim to being the highest-performing water shoe ever built, yet looks great for casual wear. The ion-mask™ technology actually prevents the materials in this shoe from absorbing any water on a molecular level. Spider Rubber and JStep outsoles will stick to a grease-covered aluminum ramp. Wet rocks are not a problem. Plus, a collapsible heel lets you slip in and out easily.

“Boaters have special needs for non-skid footwear. The Teva Fus-ion is an excellent option. The Spider Rubber has extremely fine tread on the sole and provides outstanding traction. This reduces slipping on wet surfaces,” said Chuck Hawley VP of Product Information.

Customers can visit West Marine’s booth at the Miami International Boat Show online via westmarine.com to learn more about Teva’s Fuse Ion shoes or any of West Marine’s 75,000 other product offerings.
