3M Fast Cure 5200 Sealant is an excellent product. This sealant is best used at the waterline or below. I sealed my depth finder transducer and below waterline fittings with it. It cures quickly and does a great job. One warning I would advise you to wear latex gloves when applying it. It literally stayed on my hands for over a week no matter what I tried cleaning it off with. The spout provided with the sealant did not do a great job for me.
I recommend this product for any fittings etc. at or under the waterline. A little pricey but well worth it.
Thanks

comes in handy for the smaller jobs

great for smaller jobs that need to stay water proof. unfortunately the nozzle doesn't stay on when when trying to squeeze the 5200 out of the tube.

Works Great

By Kosta

Bought this to seal parts on my boat and hot tub. Works great and would not choose any other product. If you give it the full cure time you will never have to worry about leaking or coming undone. Excellent product and easy to work with.

Not a Fast Cure

By Jimmy

from Alabama

Keep in mind that the Black color is not Fast Cure like the White color. Even though they share the same model number 5200. I am rating it "Good" only because the labeling has caused confusion.

A deck side panel got torn off. This product glued it on easily and it dried fast. Well worth the extra bucks over the standard 5200 which takes a week to cure.

I patched several old holes in my fiberglass boat. Also sealed the fiberglass gel coat on my hull. I used a decal scrapper to smooth the surface and remove the excess. I like the small package because once opened, 3M recommends using the product within 24 hours. Great product!
