I have used 5200 on many non conventional applications and it has never let me down, the most recent was on a salt water cooled aluminum exhaust housing that I put a steel sleeve around a 2" port that was corroded beyond belief and I encased it in 5200. Salt water and engine exhaust and it is holding up great. 5200 is the best permanent caulking solution ever.

You best have a long time to let this stuff dry! I used it to re- attach some trim on my boat. Put it on a week ago and it still is tacky.

I've used this to repair many things on my old boat including gluing new stringers up against the old ones, holding floor boards down when they've come loose. Glued cabinit doors where the hinges have pulled loose.
