I have used 5200 on many non conventional applications and it has never let me down, the most recent was on a salt water cooled aluminum exhaust housing that I put a steel sleeve around a 2" port that was corroded beyond belief and I encased it in 5200. Salt water and engine exhaust and it is holding up great. 5200 is the best permanent caulking solution ever.

You best have a long time to let this stuff dry! I used it to re- attach some trim on my boat. Put it on a week ago and it still is tacky.

Works Great

Comments about 3M 5200, White, Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant, 3oz.:

Bought this to seal parts on my boat and hot tub. Works great and would not choose any other product. If you give it the full cure time you will never have to worry about leaking or coming undone. Excellent product and easy to work with.

Comments about 3M 5200, White, Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant, 3oz.:

Had an older TV in master state room on my D450. Took out old TV and sealed up the opening with a good quality wood stained to hold LED TV. Used this 3M adhesive to bond the wood to opening plus 6 wood screws. Worked great holds TV and looks good. Good clean up no mess!

Not a Fast Cure

By Jimmy

from Alabama

Comments about 3M 5200, White, Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant, 3oz.:

Keep in mind that the Black color is not Fast Cure like the White color. Even though they share the same model number 5200. I am rating it "Good" only because the labeling has caused confusion.

Comments about 3M 5200, White, Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant, 3oz.:

I've used this to repair many things on my old boat including gluing new stringers up against the old ones, holding floor boards down when they've come loose. Glued cabinit doors where the hinges have pulled loose.
