Comments about Acr Electronics RapidDitch Express Abandon Ship Survival Bag:

I bought this bag to use as a training aid in an AMSEA basic safety training class. It is important on offshore fishing, sailing and work boats to be ready in the event of an emergency. Flooding, fire, abandon ship can happen in 10 minutes. After an emergency happens there is often no time to prepare. This bag is often called an abandon ship float bag. You put items in it that will help you survive or help you get rescued. A lot of people use plastic 5 gallon buckets or plastic orange boxes. Often these fill with water and sink.
