Comments about Attwood Water-buster Battery-powered Pump:

We train water dogs every weekend. The dogs bring tons of water into the small boats during their water exercises. Before the Attwoods, we had to go to shore to dump the water, re-set-up the boats and get back to the marker buoys that we train from. When you have sometimes more than 20 dogs a weekend, that's a lot of rowing back and forth and time wasted to dump water. With the Attwoods, all we have to do is turn them on. We don't waste time dumping water from boats on shore. They keep the boats bailed and they re so quiet we sometimes forget to turn them off

This Attwood pump no longer worked after two times of use, and within two months after I purchased it. The swich no longer turns on the pump. I changed the bateries (new). Still no work.

Comments about Attwood Water-buster Battery-powered Pump:

I used this pump to empty the bilge on my boat after my primary bilge pump failed and we had several days of heavy rain. Put the batteries in it and dropped it into the bilge. Within a short time it had all the water pumped out. Works great for a pump that works off of 3 batteries. Not commercial grade but appears to be pretty durable. Very pleased with it!!

Comments about Attwood Water-buster Battery-powered Pump:

I bought one of these about six years ago and it worked for years. After it failed, I bought another one and immediately realized that it had been cheapened to the point where I knew it would not last. I have used the new one a total of two times and now it has failed. The plastic used to make the body is so thin and flimsy that the top will not seal. A submersible pump has to seal, this thing does not. Hey Attwood, go back to your old design. Hey West Marine, find a new manufacturer to supply this type of product. I would give this product 0 stars if the page would have let me.
