Vulcan is a 7" diagonal chartplotter built specifically for sailors.

• Packed with sailing specific functions such as B&G’s award-winning SailSteer™, sailors can see all key sailing data at a glance. SailSteer allows sailors to view crucial sailing data on one handy screen or overlaid on the chartplotter screen.
• With the addition of sailing instruments and sensors via the NMEA 2000 network, V7 capabilities expand to include Boat Speed, Wind data, Heading, Tide, Wind Shift Sectors and even Laylines – enhancing the detail on the SailSteer and chart screens. Sailors can also make the most of Sailing Time, which provides accurate waypoint arrival times based on realistic sailing maneuvers, rather than a straight-line calculation.
• When connected to a B&G autopilot, the V7 acts as a fully functioning autopilot controller providing Intelligent Sail Steering, manual and auto steering functions and Smart Maneuver combined with intuitive menus for the ultimate in control.
• Offering built in WIFI, sailors can connect to the internet, via a marina or smartphone hotspot, and access the GoFree™ Shop where charts and software updates can be downloaded direct to the V7. The V7 can also be mirrored on a smartphone or tablet allowing viewing and control (tablet only) of the chartplotter from virtually anywhere on a boat.
• Advanced NMEA 2000 network integration facilitates various add-on options including: SonicHub™ marine audio server to enjoy music while on the water, DSC VHF Marine Radio, and AIS transponder/receivers for the ultimate in on water safety and communication.

Instrument display: Integrate the Vulcan 7 with onboard instruments to use the V7 as a large screen, highly visible instrument display with single, dual and four-way split

Widescreen, multi-touch display: Vulcan 7 design gives maximum display size in a small form factor. With pinch to zoom and swipe to pan, the V7 is intuitive to use and the easy to navigate menus make the V7 simple to operate

Choice of charts: Choose from C-MAP™, Navionics®, NV Digital™ or Insight charting options to make the most of routing and planning

Integrated Wi-Fi: This powerful chartplotter features Wi-Fi, enabling sailors to enjoy supreme communication and connectivity. When networked with a B&G WIFI-1, users can also relay information to smartphones and control selected chartplotter functions from iPad or Android tablets for the ultimate in onboard freedom.

Smart NMEA 2000 networking: Easily and seamlessly connects essential kit for cruising and sailing such as Sailing Instruments, SonicHub marine audio server, ZG100 external GPS antenna and DSC VHF Marine Radio, and gathers sailing data for quick and convenient access.
