Comments about Non-Tapered Batten Stock:

Ordered online with pickup at store. Bellevue WA store personnel were incredibly slow finding will call merchandise. Then I discovered a 12" or so long crack running length wise down the coiled batten material. It took forever to get a refund and reorder it. Then after another week of waiting I picked up the replacement. Sawing this material by hand with a thin kerf fine toothed saw is slow and challenging. I could have used a power saw, but was very concerned about the material splitting. So as I said, this purchase was a mixed bag. I'm not sure I would go this route again.

    Comments about Non-Tapered Batten Stock:

I have used this product for a number of years on an Ensign class sailboat. It gives the sail roach a decent shape under all wind conditions. It is certainly more durable than the wooden battens I used to use, and the price is very attractive.
