    Comments about Plastic Sail Slides:

I did not think it would be easy to find a replacement for the sail slide I broke but West Marine had it and it fit just right.

    Comments about Plastic Sail Slides:

Used this product to replace aging and broken clips on my Catalina 30. They worked just fine. Rated 4, because I feel they are a little pricey and packaging is odd.

They come packaged as qty of 4, an unusual qty.

In my case I had 6 of these break in one bad gybe. They were getting old, the gybe wasn't that hard. When they start breaking due to age, it is best to replace all of them. Larger package - 10 per package would be better.

    Service and delivery comments:

I bought these in store, Traverse City MI. I bought all they had. The inventory should be much higher IMO. I felt lucky to have the on hand, but next guy would be out of luck.

          Comments about Plastic Sail Slides:

First of don't let the size fool you, once attached to your feet you feel the motion and off you go, you are sliding. Not sure of the amount of floatation in them but will be out on the lake this weekend to test them on open water..

I needed 2 sail slides for my 27 Bristol. These were just the right size and they fit perfectly. Four in a package.

Comments about Bainbridge Plastic Sail Slides:

I have A 1991 Hunter 30T, this is 2014 so the boat is 23 years old. The boat has spent most of its life in Hawaii were the normal winds are 15 to 25 Knots and the sun light (UV) is very high. The mast step needed to be replaced due to normal wear and tear so I decided to replace all of the main sail attachment components at the same time.I went to my local West Marine store to replace the existing nylon sail slides with new ones. There was not much choice available for the replacement (industry wide not West Marine) so I ordered what was available. I ordered this part and it is a lot smaller than what was originally installed. The original had a diameter of 5/16" and this part is 9/32". The only way that I will know if this part holds up will be in another 10 years.

                Service and delivery comments:

The service from West Marine online was fantastic - I ordered them on the weekend and received them on Wednesday by USPS for a shipping cost of $9.95.
