Prevent two AC power sources from mixing

Two sources of AC power must never be connected. Power from a genset, inverter, or shore power source, when combined creates a very dangerous situation. To ensure this does not occur, Blue Sea Systems designed a sliding lockout to prevent two double pole breakers for being switched to the ON position at the same time. The lockout easily secures to the breaker panel using the breaker mounting fasteners and doesn’t require panel modifications. Simply slide the lockout to isolate the unwanted power source breaker in the OFF position leaving the desired power source free to switch; slide can only be moved while switches are in OFF position.
