Comments about U.S. Coast Guard Waterproof Watch with Two Tone Stainless Steel Band:

This watch would stop around the 11:00 hour. If you tapped the watch it would start up again so bearing this in mind, I would loose up to several hours per day. If I went to reset the time without tapping it, the second hand would go backwards for two or three seconds. Finally sent it back to the repair dept. and followed all the instructions with copies of bill, warranty, letter of problem and even tagged the watch so if it got separated from the paperwork someone could track it down. I sent it in and was received on the 30th. of August. I am waiting for a repaired watch with the same dial logo to be returned. Why do I have a funny feeling I will never see this watch again...hmmm? Well we shall see. If anyone wants one of these watches wait a while until I get my "repaired" watch returned.

Comments about U.S. Coast Guard Waterproof Watch with Two Tone Stainless Steel Band:

Looked great out of box. Good quality and weight. Rotating bezel did not work and was 'stuck' not allowing for any rotation at all. Other models worked fine once I returned to West Marine store in Woburn MA.

    Service and delivery comments:

Prompt delivery, unfortunately Coast Guard watch delivered had a faulty rotating bezel dial which was essentially stuck and did not work.

I bought 2 watches to give as gifts for my 30th year retirement from the Coast Guard. Was funny but a bit surprised to be shipped a US Navy watch as one of the two watchers. Would have been a pain on a busy schedule to return, but local store in Woburn, MA had some inventory and promptly refuned and exchanged for a working verison and proper U.S. Coast Guard version.

good service recovery for the most part.
