DIG IN ANCHORS Shallow Water Anchor Poles

A simple, dependable solution for anchoring your recreational boat, bass boat, flats boat, kayak or skiff in up to 11' of water (depending on pole size). Designed for tournament fishermen, Shallow Water Anchors are lightweight, easy to install and slide quietly into the water so they won’t scare the fish away. They’ll keep your boat pointed into the wind or current, plus prevent damage to grass, lake or stream beds. The 3/4"dia., high-strength fiberglass poles with rubber handles are available in 8', 10' or 12' lengths, double as push poles and stow in your existing rod holders or can be placed within easy reach with the included clips. Select a marine grade, anodized aluminum mount (required for anchoring) to match your particular boat. 5" offset transom mount recommended for boats without trim tabs, 10" offset with trim tabs; 3" rise bow mount for boats with shallow gunwales, 6" rise for high gunwales. Includes all necessary mounting hardware and complete instructions. Lifetime warranty on all mounts.

Comments about Shallow Water Anchor Poles:

I wrote a review on the 10ft pole that goes into depth my feelings on this system. The bottom line is be prepared to have a few varied lengths of pole or live with a lot of pole sticking above your boat deck. In the photo you can see the various lengths of poles I carry and the Velcro straps I use to secure them.

    Service and delivery comments:

West Marine was great about getting these poles shipped to their store.

Comments about Shallow Water Anchor Poles:

Purchased for fishing Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee. The system worked like a dream. Easy to deploy and retrieve and very quiet. I believe it improved our catch this year.

Comments about Shallow Water Anchor Poles:

Once in a while a product comes along that stands out in the crowded marine/fihing market. In my opinion the DigIn shallow water anchor stands heads above the competition. I live and bass fish in Florida where virtually all of the lakes are shallow. The Dig In allows me to quietly get and stay in position without spooking the fish.

I use this device on a 22' potoon boat. This fiberglass pole holds the boat very well, it's easy to push down, easy to pull up, installation also was easy, this pole also holds well in rough water.
