This has one advantage -- the great, excellent fabric. That said, it is a bit rigid. I think the problem is in the design -- I thought it was supposed to hug the body more and be more stretchy, but instead it is a bit boxy (as often the case with ExOfficio things) and it doesn't quite work with me. It's still good, but the lacy one is softer and more comfortable.

I bought the Give-n-Go tank and Hipkini underwear for a weekend fishing trip. After a 10 hour day of hiking and fishing in waders (~6 miles) the tank showed excessive pilling around the mid section and hips almost to the point of wearing large holes in the fabric. I won't be able to wear this shirt again. The underwear held up only slightly better, but started to pill on the backside. I'd like to get a couple more uses out of those, but after this experience I'm not hopeful. I've had other Exofficio tanks and underwear in the past that have held up for years. I'm not sure what's changed, but something has definitely messed with the integrity of these garments. I won't buy them again unfortunately.

I live in it

Comments about Exofficio Womens Give-N-Go Tank:

I bought a couple of these in black for an overseas trip, and they worked out really well. They were comfortable even in semi-tropical humid conditions, can be worn for days on end, and dry quickly when washed. I now practically live in them. I'm a single parent juggling a lot and don't have time to iron or think much about what to wear. I need something I can just throw on in the morning under a jacket. I don't care for the other colors in which they are offered--I would like one in a smoky gray and a true navy.

Love These!

Comments about Exofficio Womens Give-N-Go Tank:

I bought two of these to wear (backpacking for 3.5 weeks on Camino De Santiago Compostela) under an unbuttoned long sleeve UVP shirt. They are super lightweight and, dry relatively quickly (IF you wrap them in a towel to squeeze out as much water as possible, first). I bought one in beige which on my skin tone looks very nude/invisible as well as a League, which is a BEAUTIFUL purple-y blue. The color is still strong and vibrant! I am well pleased with these.

glad i bought on sale at least. I've had shrinkage, puckering, and pilling with these. after trying ex officio for the first time i am disappointed, i don't find the material comfortable against my skin. we'll see what happens when i try out the bug away clothes when the mosquitoes arrive. maybe i will be back for more of those. or not.

Comments about Exofficio Womens Give-N-Go Tank:

I have purchased this tank in several colors. It fits nicely and washes well. It is great for layering. The scoop neck looks nice under V-neck shirts or quarter zip tops, but is low enough that it needn't show if you don't want it to. Since temps have dropped, it adds a layer of warmth without being bulky. I wish Exofficio offered this scoop neck top with long sleeves.

This is a great product. I am appreciating how much warmth an extra layer adds in the cold and wet weather. Very easy to care for and comfortable. After my first purchase, I bought another one! It has quickly become a staple to my winter wardrobe.

          Great Undershirt

Comments about Exofficio Womens Give-N-Go Tank:

This is an undershirt. Expect it to fit closely, right up against the body (unlike the photo at top.) That said, it is a very comfortable undershirt and it is made of Ex Officio's amazing Give N Go fabric, which keeps me drier and cooler than any other fabric I've worn. It feels soft and comfortable and not slimy like so much workout wear tends to feel these days. I wear it under a light weight merino wool long-sleeved shirt when hiking in cooler weather. I am a size XL in most brands, occasionally a 2X, because of a combination of wide ribcage, large bust, heavy muscles (and a little middle-aged fat.) This, in size XL, fits comfortably but it is a form fitted undershirt. So I gave it five stars because of the fabric and comfort and because it is exactly what it claims to be. What I want Ex Officio to do now is make a relaxed fit, sleeveless V-neck or U-neck shirt (not undershirt) in this material for summer hiking and other outdoor activities, and carry it in 2X (just in case!) I would buy one in every color (except white or beige) and never buy another brand of hiking tank again. (Just like I did with the string- and low rise bikinis.)

I bought one of these a year ago and loved it. Couldn't bring myself to buy another because of price. Eventually gave in and bought the last two in my size. I use them as a base layer in the fall or to cover up a little when a shirt is a little too low for my liking. Very comfortable and great fit.

Comments about Exofficio Womens Give-N-Go Tank:

Okay, just for the Ladies reading this: I read all the reviews and then went ahead and order a XL (the biggest they have), and crossed my fingers, hoping I might be able to squeeze into it. I really needed some kind of light-weight "cami" to wear under my travel knit tops, so I won't feel so exposed. I'm usually a 2X straight off the rack, with a 50" bust. The XL fit me just fine. Not to snug, not to lose. So, I wanted to post this for those reading about it being to large or to small or order down, whatever -- since I've noticed that no one mentioned their actual measurement and what did fit. Also, I hand-washed it in the sink and hung it up in the hotel bathroom and it was completely dried within 3 hours and ready to wear. I've ordered 2 more.
