Lake Champlain is often called the “Sixth Great Lake.”  It is outstanding for landlocked salmon and lake trout, with bonus browns and steelhead. This section harbors a great smallmouth bass population and excellent numbers of largemouth.  Trophy smallies over 5 pounds and largemouths over 6 pounds are available.
