FORCE 10
Three-Burner Gourmet Galley Gimbaled Propane Ranges

Force 10 ranges provide completely safe cooking at sea, with a minimum of maintenance.

Standard infrared broilers produce great sandwiches and broiled fish. Force 10’s unique, patented slide-away oven door maximizes galley space while maintaining true gimbal balance-whether the door is open or closed. It locks securely in position when closed, but slides beneath the oven when open. All units include mounting hardware.

The tilt-top grill raises for easy cleaning. Safety thermocouples at each burner stop the flow of propane seconds after the flame is extinguished. Each range is designed to accommodate a 3/8" female flare swivel. Includes two sets of pot holders. Trim kits for converting Models 1987338, 1988039, 1988096 and 1988146 to built-in installation sold separately (Model 11853074).

Three-burner models have one 8200Btu and two 4100Btu burners.

Comments about Three-Burner Gourmet Galley Gimbaled Propane Ranges:

Have had this range for three months now and it gets frequent/daily use on a live aboard trawler . It seems to be a robust, quality piece of equipment that I expect/hope to get years of service from. I fully recommend it at this point.

Comments about Force 10 Three-Burner Gourmet Galley Gimbaled Propane Ranges:

We are liveaboards for 6 months during the winters in Mexico. This stove gets used every day, from making coffee in the morning to cooking 3 meals a day, baking bread, broiling, browning etc

We have an oven thermometer and checking it to the oven setting it is bang on once up to heat which does not take long.

Gimballing is excellent, we can use it while sailing and it remains quite stable. The oven door is quite crafty the way it tucks in and does not upset the balance.

The top grate is instantly removed which makes cleaning the top a snap, if liquids get under the burners, they are removed with 2 screws for thorough cleaning. The oven and all other surfaces are stainless steel, so are easily wiped out and cleaned with SS cleaners

I have had to take the burner switches apart and clean them using contact cleaner, and have had to re-tension springs used in the switches. But in my opinion this is just maintenance, this stove is now 21 years old, came in our 1994 Hunter as original equipment. After servicing the burner igniters, they are once again reliable and love being able to light all 5 burners (3 surface, oven and broiler) with just a press of the gas control, it is a treat. No reaching in the back of the oven, fumbling around to light the burner. Especially nice if the oven is already hot and you need to relight it. Tough on the hands trying to get a lighter back there.

This stove has stood the test of time and has changed very little if at all, I think it is great. I have never been on any other boat (and I've been on a lot) that had a better stove.

Comments about Three-Burner Gourmet Galley Gimbaled Propane Ranges:

Hi had many problems with the igniters never lighting the burners plus the stainless is too thin in the oven which distorts and has broken ceramic grill can not take the heat. Not really designed to cook with great as a show piece and ideal for a boat with a micro wave.
