The GHP 10V marine autopilot provides plug-and-play NMEA 2000 networking with a clear, easy-to-use interface, so you can change course by just grabbing the wheel, or you can control the heading of your boat at the press of a soft key. Designed for Volvo Penta Inboard Performance Systems (IPS) and sterndrive joystick systems, the GHP 10V is the result of an extensive partnership between Garmin and Volvo Penta. This collaboration helped create a robust autopilot system designed to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. It’s confidence you can count on when you're navigating the open waters.
Shadow Drive™: With the GHP 10V’s patented Shadow Drive™ technology, you will enjoy the security of knowing you maintain control even when relying upon the autopilot. Shadow Drive™ technology lets you simply grab the wheel to adjust your heading, and the pilot will automatically re-enage after you’ve held a steady course.
Enjoy the Simple Interface & NMEA Connectivity: The GHP 10V autopilot is controlled by the included GHC 20 color display. This control unit communicates with the autopilot system via an NMEA 2000 bus, so autopilot heading data can easily be shared with other devices, such as quatix™, the world’s first marine GPS navigation watch featuring ANT™ wireless technology. Up to three GHC 20 controllers can be interfaced with a single GHP 10V, allowing for autopilot capabilities in multiple stations on your boat.
The GHP 10V is compatible with version C3 and newer Volvo Penta EVC systems. Please contact Volvo Penta for information on upgrading older EVC systems
