I use four Boulder 15 cells in series to recharge my RV battery every day while camping. I'm getting enough charge current out of it to offset the constant ~1.5 amps being drawn by the appliances, and still put about 2 amps into the battery.

The strong construction made it easy to bolt the panels together using hinges. The assembly folds up for easy storage. Also, the tempered glass is strong enough to withstand being hit by a falling pinecone.

Lightweight, plug and play, efficient

Comments about Goal Zero Boulder 15m Solar Panel:

I bought 8 Boulder 15 v2 panels and chained together 2 sets of 4. I am running at up to 84 watts input just laying them against my house. Durable, easy to use, and absolutely deliver on power delivery to my Yeti 400.

Comments about Goal Zero Boulder 15m Solar Panel:

Works but looks like a pig.. one came all scrached up and had crooked goal zero logo. I held off on buying yeti 1250 kit and bought NPowered solar 1800 watt kit instead.

Good Panel

By vm_68

Comments about Goal Zero Boulder 15m Solar Panel:

I purchased one of these with a Venture 30 and it worked great. I wanted my charge time to decrease to I purchased another Boulder 15 and chained them together and that worked great too. I now have 4 Boulder 15s (can't beat $58 each) chained together, mounted on the Goal Zero Tripod and I use them to charge my Yeti 400 and they work great (getting about 55 watts total). Solid construction, fairly light weight, and they chain well together. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that the USB connection on one of the panels doesn't seem to work. That, however, doesn't bother me since I chain them together anyway. I'm sure if I called and reported the problem that Goal Zero would provide a solution, but it's not a big enough deal for me to worry about.

By jezzo

Comments about Goal Zero Boulder 15m Solar Panel:

I bought these panels to help power up our gadgets while on the road in our Westy. Super easy to use; very straight forward design with the cables and when connecting to gadgets. Looking forward to the generator and two more panels to come!

Needs connector shipped with panel

By Elgrande

from NM

Comments about Goal Zero Boulder 15m Solar Panel:

The panel is super nice, well built and just the right size. One problem though, the plugin connections have been drastically changed. A set of 8 mm clips or adaptor to connect 8mm to existing 6.2 mm panels should be included. As shipped I could not use the panel until I bought a daisy chain connector to use with my existing old style panels.
