      Comments about Watertite Epoxy Filler:

I was a bit hesitant to buy this filler since I had no experience with epoxy based fillers. I decided to go ahead and give it a try since I needed to fill and fair my sailboat cast iron keel, and it was the filler recommend for use with the Interlux 2000e epoxy primer. I found the filler very easy to mix and apply compared with other fillers I've used in the past that are not epoxy based. The consistency is just perfect and it dries hard in 3 hours at which time you sand with 80 grit sandpaper, and you overcoat with Interlux 2000e after 4 hours. The only con is. That it takes 3 hours to be sandable, however what you get in return is a longer application time before the filler starts getting hard and no longer workable. Overall I liked it and although expensive well worth it for below the water application.

        Comments about Watertite Epoxy Filler:

I used it to make repairs in my 22 footer Anacapri prior applying the buttom paint. It was easy to mix, apply and ready to be sanded with in the hour in the heat of Miami weather. It was also easy to sand and the bottom paint convered well. At first I was concerned with the price. It seamed costly for the amount of the product I was getting. But know I am glad I picked a product that did exactly what I needed with no extra cost involved.

          Comments about Watertite Epoxy Filler:

Parts A and B mix easily to a light blue color. Speads smoothly. Dries nearly rock hard, sandable but not easily. Before curing get to your desired shape as best possible, it'll be easier when you do sand.

I used this to fill blisters in the bottom of my 30 year old sail boat, it was like working with drywall mud. Very easy to use and simple to apply! Let it dry, don't expect it to dry in an hour like the can says
