Comments about 12'0" Blue Heron Stand up Paddleboard:

I use this paddle board all summer long - for fishing off of or just paddling around in general. It is a great multipurpose board. It is very stable in big waves (just don't look at the waves hit the board and you won't panic) and easy to transport. I use a "board schlepper" to carry it a couple blocks to launch and I can walk a couple of blocks with it just fine. I just wish it was a little more durable. It scratches easy and I dented the outside coating a little when it hit against the ground. Other than that, I am so happy that I bought this, my wife and I both love using it on the St. Lawrence River.

Comments about 12'0" Blue Heron Stand up Paddleboard:

This is my first paddle board. My wife purchased the Surge at the same time, but her's arrived at the store almost a full month before mine. It's a great board because of its price and quality. It delivers all that is promised in its description.

Comments about 12'0" Blue Heron Stand up Paddleboard:

Bought this as a guest board to compliment my bote'
fishing sup. I just recently got to try it out and it exceeded my expectations. It manuvers well and has great stability. The package is very well put together. You get everything you need to get out on the water and a bag to boot. I have been having so much fun with it that I have been using it as my go to board. It appears to be well constructed with really nice deck pads and many tie downs for your equipment. I know my quests will enjoy it as well.:-) The board is a tad on the heavy side due to its stable size and as with all sups their awkward shape. I used some of the tie down plugs to make a few rope handles and at age 65 I can get to where I want it to go. I am very well pleased with my purchase. I am also well pleased with the West Marine order processing
    and staff.

    Service and delivery comments:

I ordered the board on-line and had it shipped to my
local store. It was there in 2 days ,very well packaged and ready to go. The process went very well.

Stable SUP, easier to turn than expected

Comments about 12'0" Blue Heron Stand up Paddleboard:

Live on a lake and my first paddleboard purchase. Extremely happy with the quality and versatility of the board. Very stable and ideal for beginners. I'm 230lbs and my wife is 160lbs. Easy for both of us to use and paddle around solo. When we both were on it though (way over the 320lb rating btw), it was harder to paddle but that was expected. We still got around and easily floated without too much effort. Sitting on it and enjoying the sun was relaxing.

Price point was great and also included a high quality adjustable carbon fiber paddle and other accessories.

I plan to outfit it for fishing by utilizing all the tie down spots for a cooler and rod holders.

Comments about 12'0" Blue Heron Stand up Paddleboard:

First off the board is excellent. West marine staff however... well where to start... store did not have the correct bag "gave it to another customer", gave mw the wrong paddle, the wrong fin (fin was lost on first use). Other than a horrible store experience, the Blue Heron board is everything I hoped it would be.

Comments about 12'0" Blue Heron Stand up Paddleboard:

This SUP is awesome because it is so stable. I have done a yoga move called the bridge on it, towed my tired gf on her SUP with it, carried a cooler and put my dog on it. I like the extra deck traction up front. In the water this board is still very nimble for turning. It's heavier because the extra length and traction, but that is not a dealbreaker.
