CPX windlasses are a great choice for many boats in the 40'-50' range.
CPX Vertical Windlasses feature a 316 stainless steel top cap and chain pipe with an alloy base so it is lighter than the all stainless steel V-Series deck units. Pulling power is supplied by the IP56 splash-protected motor and worm drive gearbox that delivers maximum strength and longevity in the marine environment. The CPX can be fitted with chain pipes for either starboard or port feed, allowing for paired installations. All models include circuit breaker, solenoid, up/down switch, wrap around stripper, manual override for emergency release and clutch cone drive for smooth control. A manual recovery option is available to provide anchor retrieval in case of power failure.
