Enjoy sailing without the grind with these electric winches and electric winch conversion kits. Upgrade your manual winch to an electric model with the Ocean upgrade kit. The kit contains all you need to convert your existing manual winch to an electric powered version.
The ELS Series use a solid-state electric load sensing Overload Protection Control Box that runs the winch at high speed and slows it down as the load increases. A less expensive alternative is the E-Series, which operates with a simple, single-direction, On/Off control box.
Thermal overload protection is standard on both. Quiet running and easy to install, these winches provide efficient operation for genoa sheets on boats 30'–36' and main halyards on boats 40'–46'. Both series include the Ocean winch, drive unit, motor, deck switch, control box and circuit breaker.
Conversion of existing Ocean Series convertible winches is possible with ELS or E-Series Conversion Kits, also offered below. CE-certified. All can be ordered in 24V versions.
