Link-2 is a floating, feature-rich handheld VHF radio with a 128 x 128 pixel dot-matrix display and a built-in 12-channel GPS receiver with Class D Digital Selective Calling capacity. It is ideal for everyday use or convenient storage in an emergency kit. Save up to 300 waypoints, or create a “buddy list” of up to 20 people. “Get Buddy” feature transmits the radio’s position by push of a button, allowing buddies to receive bearing and distance data from other Link-2 units. NMEA 0183 output from the charger base. Latitude, longitude and time display. Distress call button with hinged door. Flexible dual and tri watch for greater channel monitoring, along with Weather Alert.
