Charts are very out-of-date!

About Me Serious cruiser

Pros

  • all in one book

Cons

  • Dated information
  • low accuracy

Best Uses

Comments about Mariners Ink Yachtsman's Mexico to Panama Chartbook:

7th edition purchased late 2013 from West Marine consisted of old, out-dated DMA charts. Low to poor accuracy. Doesn't even show Cabo's inner basin (1970s), Mazatlan's Marina district, etc etc. CMap and Navionics far more uptodate (but still with large gaps). ALL chart updates are based on official SEMAR Mexico charts (an ongoing process of producing new and updated charts).
