Starter rope line fits most 4-50hp Mercury or Mariner 2-cycle outboards (1963 through 1985), 20-75hp 2-cycle outboards (1986 and newer), 8.9 4-stroke outboards (1995 through 2004), 15hp 4-stroke outboards (91998 through 2006), 25hp 4-stroke outboards (1998 through 2005), 30hp 4-stroke outboards (1999 through 2005) and 40hp 4-stroke outboards (1998 and newer) with manual start systems or options for manual start groove on flywheel.
