For fancy work on ship's wheels, handrails, bells, or stanchion, you can't beat this for consistency, strength, and appearance. It holds up its appearance especially with a few coats of water base polyeurethane which does not yellow).

Been using this line for years. Very strong and light weight. Seems to be very sun resistant. Have use it for topping lift, tiedowns, jib haul down line, fenders, kick up rudder lanyard, and tieing all kinds of stuff to boat.

We used it on our sailboat in Italy to fasten lower portion of the safety netting we installed around the deck to keep our chihuahua and tools, etc, from sliding overboard. Have not had much sun so not sure of its UV quality. Size and strength have a multitude of uses aboard.
