For 2016, O’Brien Watersports squared off the tip and tail of the Breddas Wakeboard and softened the lay-up for better performance on the rails. The 100% wood core is durable, creates a perfect flex pattern for explosive ollies, and the press pass rocker line features 5 distinct zones throughout the base providing a larger more stable platform when landing and pressing features. Standing a top O'Brien's premium canted lux chassis, the GTX utilizes 3 interchangeable Velcro straps to make mid ride adjustments and getting in and out of your bindings quick and effortless. The lightweight shell boasts a medium/stiff flex pattern and the TPU ankle strap pulls your foot into the heel pocket of the ultra light liner for maximum comfort and control. Therma-welded upper for minimal weight, maximum drainage and breathability. Features an off axis rotation system that allows equal heel and toe leverage while achieving perfect alignment. The power arch provides more support during normal riding conditions and minimizes the amount you foot rolls inward on hard landings while reducing stress on your knees. The chassis is canted 2.5 degrees inward generating a more natural alignment and leg position when riding which offers more support to the outside of the foot, provides improved control, and reduces stress and fatigue on your ankles and knees for a longer, more comfortable ride.
