Built to take on shark, striper, yellowfin, cobia and other similar gamefish, this reel is fully sealed, so salt and sand simply can’t get in. The body is machined aluminum with 7+1 stainless steel bearings and Penn’s patented oversized HT-100 Versa-drag ensuring smoothness when it counts. An integral clutch sleeve eliminates backplay. The stainless steel bail uses a unique system to let the angler choose between manual and automatic trip at the touch of a switch. The high-capacity spools are braid-ready, so you know they’re tough enough for big fish.
