After a year bottom gets hard and slick

    By Sailor Joe

    from Bath NC

    Pros

    • Comfortable

    Cons

    • Bottom gets slick
    • Short lifetime

    Best Uses

I use these shoes on a sailboat with non-skid decks. For the first year it was great, but the next season the rubber on the bottom was hard and slick. I couldn't wear them on the non-skid at all as they were to slick to use even on a dry deck. Don't buy shoes with the natural rubber soles unless you plan to wear them out in a year. I only wore them on the boat, so they could have lasted several seasons. They still look new, but are unsafe on board.
