Comments about International Dock Lifting Ladders:
The ladder was shipped with one of the two screws missing. Not a problem though since I had to go to the store anyway to buy the four lag bolts to anchor it to the dock. In the up position, the ladder was in the water about four inches. There was enough room for me to slide the ladder up enough to get it out of the water and drill two new holes for the screws. The ladder now stays completely out of the water when not in use and is easy to let down when for the kids to jump off the dock into the creek and be able to climb back out.
Pros
- Easy to install
- Sturdy
Cons
- Expensive

- Very high docks
Comments about International Dock Lifting Ladders:
The water level to my dock at low tide could be as much as 8 feet. This 7 foot ladder is more than I need to get all the way down without it hitting bottom. It easily pulls up to keep it out of water. Installs easily with (unincluded) 4 bolts/nuts or screws (get stainless steal carriage).
