California Coast Nautical Charts
Channel Crossings nautical charts are based on data collected by the United States Government, particularly the National Ocean Service. While they are often used by the Coast Guard and by law enforcement agencies, they are not government charts. Although they have been used on extremely large vessels, they are designed for small boat skippers with modest chart tables. They focus on coastal waters, islands, harbors, and anchorages rather than on passages for commercial shipping.
