After replacing the standard white nylon bi color bow navigation light several times because of durability issues, I decided to try the stainless steel version. Wise decision. The stainless cap is secured with a top screw which is far superior to the base screw on the white nylon version. Now when people accidentally grab the bow light to brace themselves or steady the boat, the cap won't pull off. Plus the stainless looks better.
