Works too good

By Him001

Pros

  • Better than standard equipment
  • Boat loads easier now

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Ramp launching

Comments about Taco Trailer Glyde Slicks:

After easy installation of the Slicks, it was time to put the boat back on the trailer. The boat (16') took very little effort to drive up on. The Slicks were so slick that I had to keep the motor running in forward to attach the winch hook due to the boat sliding back into the water. Not a very safe thing to do. Warning: If boat is not secured with at least the winch hook in place, there is a good possibility the boat will slide off the trailer while backing down the ramp. Advice: Count the hardware screws that comes with the Slicks. You should have a screw for every drilled hole in the Slicks. I use a hacksaw to cut the excess length off. It did a good job.

These are a must for loading and unloading PWC from the beach when the trailer cannot be submersed and is completely out of the water.
