Comments about Interlux VC 17m Extra Thin Film Anitfouling Paint with Biolux:
Used on a sailboat in freshwater lake for 6 mo/year. 2 coats, very easy to apply. Very good protection for most of the season. Pulled and washed the boat in late summer to visit other lakes. After returning to my home lake, the hull developed a lot of slime before the end of the season. Where the trailer bunks rubbed the bottom, the gel-coat began to show through. VC17 is much softer than the adjacent white epoxy striping, and you have to be careful when waxing the freeboard not to pull streaks of VC17 up onto the upper hull.

Comments about Interlux VC 17m Extra Thin Film Anitfouling Paint with Biolux:
I stripped the years of bottom paint from my boat and added VC17 3 years ago. This paint is the best I have ever used. Easy to put on. Cheaper than regular bottom paint and lasts multiple years. I never have to sand anymore., Just wash and rinse, let dry and paint. Paint dries in 20 minutes and you can launch immediately. The paint is so slippery I gained almost 2 miles per hour at the same cruising 2500 RPM. The boat actually seems to float about a half inch higher than it used to. Maybe because this paint is so thin and weighs nothing compared to the layers of old paint.
