Easy installation, noticeable improvement in boat stability and much less porpoising. Used it on a Bayliner 175 - 2011 and couldn't be happier...cruising at 40 mph without any stability problems on choppy river.

We have a 2006 19.5ft tahoe
with 2-4 people on board this boat tended to porpoise at slow speeds unless we had the trim down to its lowest point .This tended to make the powertrain growl and affect performance and economy .
with the use of this devise the boat can be trimmed up .to a more efficient setting .

This hydrofoil fixed the cavitation problem I was having with my 17' inflatable. I used the sport clip (separate accessory made by the same company) to install it and after an extremely rough weekend of use on the stormy sea, it has held strong. Very pleased.

Installation was easy. Drill four holes and bolt it on. Their drill guide is very good. I installed it on a Sea Ray Sundancer 260 and I was disappointed that the performance of the boat did not improve. Too large of a boat I suspect. The product should make a difference on smaller boats as claimed by the Mfg.

I added this to my 2001 Chapperal 180 SSE with a 4.3 Mercruiser Alpha 1.
Previously the boat would be unstable upon taking wakes from other boats. I would have to lower the pitch down and reduce speed to keep the boat in control and maintain comfort to passengers.
Adding the SE 300 has giving me a lot more contol and dramaticaly improved the performance and handling. It also seems to have improved the fuel consumption.
I installed the unit directly and did not use the no drill adapter.
Adding this makes you wonder why the manufactures of drives do not improve the drives to have better performance by having something like this already in the design.

Purchased the 300 Hyrdofoil and sport clip. After reading over the instructions the best I could I opted to drill the hydrofoil instead of using the clip. Very easy to install, mounted perfectly, and upon launching my boat in the water, noticed the effects of the new hydrofoil immediately. Hole shot was incredile, no porpoising, much much faster on plane time, and stayed on plane even at slower speed. I have a 97 Hydrosport 20 ft CC with a Johnson 150 HP Ocean Runner. I couldn't NOT get the torque fin off of the cavitation plate to save my soul...which is why I opted to drill. From start of drilling to completion...30 minutes!

Best money I've spent. A dramatic diference. No bow lift, no slippage on turns, plane quicker, and stay on plane with fewer rpm's.
Safe to drill, had one on another boat for years without a problem. The no drill kit adds a lot of drag.
