Comments about ProSport Battery Chargers:
Did not charge my two batteries and the indicator lights fluctuated between just blue, and blue and green (same problems described in other reviews), even though the batteries were down. I returned it for a Guest 2 bank model, and the Guest works fine. I should have read the reviews first!

Comments about ProSport Battery Chargers:
I have gone through 2 of these on my 2008 CC. The boat has 49 hours on it...and the second pro mariner 12 has died March 2012 . I can't see me buying one every other year at over $100 - I can't be the only one this happens to ? Now if it had a 3 year warranty.....

Comments about ProSport Battery Chargers:
I use the ProSport6 to supplement my solar powered Ham Radio station. Have large AGM batteries. The charger keeps batteries up as needed. I have to turn the charger off when I'm operating HF. (4 Mhz)I'm going to try ferrite filters on all the leads to see if I can improve the noise problem.

Comments about ProSport Battery Chargers:
My second ProSport 20 (one under a different house brand name) just failed. Won't give a power on light or charge (same for the first one). The first time my money was refunded by the store, now will see soon how ProSport will handle their warrenty. Not sure what is killing them, possibly voltage spikes. These are the only waterproof chargers with the dual bank features I can find. They worked really well until they gave up. In both cases the failure took both batteries out (one pair flooded, the other pair AGM).

I have purchased two of the two battery units, and both died within a year. I am headed back to West tomorrow. They have been great with replacing the unit, but I will try something different this time.

Comments about ProSport Battery Chargers:
I installed the 1-output, 6-amp model.
It was easy to install, just attach the lugs to the battery terminals.
I used 4 stainless machine screws through the bulkhead.
The charging status lights are easy to read too.
I like the 3-stage feature, which also allows the unit charging up to 30 days to top-off the battery if needed.
We don't live where the boat is stored, so I can charge the battery on one weekend, then check it the next weekend.

Comments about ProSport Battery Chargers:
3rd unit died like the last two - one of the 3 charging legs quit after 3 yeas.
No indication of one not charging. LED indicators tiny and cannot be read except in the dark. Individual bank voltage testing system is a must if you use this charger - our you will be SLO when you set out with one back low.

Comments about Professional Mariner ProSport Battery Chargers:
This unit generates electrial nosie so your house radios will not work. All they do is buzz. Called ProSports Tech Sup. and they said the Prosport was built for bass boats or fishing boats that don't have radios but in the installation instructions it says nothing to back up this up!!
