StructureScan Thru hull Transducer
Lowrance is releasing the new StructureScan Thru-hull transducer this June. This new transducer provides the same left/right SideScanâ„¢ and Downscan Imagingâ„¢ technology as the transom mount transducer in a thru-hull configuration. The transducer will include a 38.1mm/1.5in fairing block that can be cut to fit the rise angle of the hull. Along with this Lowrance is selling a LSS-1 StructureScan module without a transducer. This will allow the customer to buy the LSS-1 module and the Thru-hull transducer without having an unneeded transom mount transducer. Also there will be a StructureScan Y cable to allow the connection of two StructureScan thru-hull transducers to one LSS-1 module. This will allow for the use on boats with a large dead rise angle on the hull. This cable will use the Right and Down beams from the starboard transducer and the Left beam from the Port transducer to make the complete SideScan/Downscan imaging.
